Flourish Ingredients
Flourish for Plant Based diets is made from a comprehensive blend of nutrient rich ingredients such as seeds, nuts, wheatgrass and kelp. It is carefully formulated to help achieve a balanced diet for your dog by addressing common nutrient deficiencies in homemade vegan meals.
SUNFLOWER SEEDS
Sunflower seeds are an excellent source of Vitamin E, magnesium, copper and selenium. These beneficial nutrients can boost your dog’s immune system and help prevent chronic disease. Rich in essential fatty acids, sunflower seeds are great for your dog’s skin and coat.
FLAX MEAL
Flaxseeds are full of Omega-3, an essential fatty acid (also known as alpha linolenic acid, or ALA) which has many benefits to your dog’s health. Specifically, flaxseeds may support skin and coat health, promote a healthy immune system, improve kidney function, and its anti-inflammatory properties may improve issues with joints and mobility.

Pumpkin seeds are a great source of magnesium, manganese, iron, zinc and copper. They are high in antioxidants and rich in ALA. Pumpkin seeds may improve heart health, reduce inflammation, and promote healthy skin, coat and joints.
SESAME SEEDS
Sesame seeds are rich in fibre and beneficial nutrients such as phosphorus, manganese, calcium and selenium, sesame seeds promote a healthy immune system, heart health, and benefit the skin and coat.
WHEATGRASS POWDER
Wheatgrass is well known as a superfood with many health benefits. It is packed with vitamins A, C, E, K and B complex, phytonutrients, iron, calcium, chlorophyll, and proteins. It can reduce toxins in the body, aid with digestion, boost the immune system, and its anti inflammatory properties may improve joint health and mobility.
BRAZIL NUTS
Brazil nuts are extremely rich in selenium, an essential mineral and antioxidant which supports the immune system. High in healthy fats, they are a nutritional powerhouse and also contain copper, zinc, thiamin, niacin, vitamin E, magnesium, and arginine. They are also rich in methionine, an amino acid often missing from plant-based diets.
KELP
Kelp is a type of brown algae seaweed, and it will give your dog a big nutrient boost. Kelp is rich in iodine, which is important for healthy thyroid function and the endocrine glands. Kelp is also one of the richest sources of amino acids, being 25% protein.
SHIITAKE MUSHROOM

L-Carnitine is an amino acid which is most commonly found in animal products. On a plant-based diet, supplementation of l-carnitine is important for your dog’s cardiovascular health.
TAURINE
Taurine is an amino acid which is most commonly found in animal products. On a plant-based diet, supplementation of taurine is essential to support cardiovascular health. Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) in dogs is a potentially fatal disease associated with inadequate taurine levels, so it is vitally important to choose a supplement which contains taurine when feeding home prepared meals.
